Background: I love Raku pottery. It is such a beautiful and wonderful surprise to see the finished piece. I throw my own pottery and although I high fire many pieces, Raku is my favorite. Raku is the ultimate expression of restraint, understanding and quietism in pottery.

No two pieces are alike.
